Why I Twitter Instead of Blog

I know there are many great reasons to have a blog and when it comes to businesses, I keep several. I have 2 blogs that pertain to my own businesses and I write for about 20 blogs for clients on a regular monthly basis Tiny zone. Maybe it’s all this blog writing that tires me out for keeping a personal blog. Or maybe I just don’t feel like I have that many things to say about myself to sit and write an entire blog post every day. This is how I can to enjoy Twitter so much.

I can spurt out quick thoughts, reminders, wishes and other details of my day in 140 characters or less and get instant replies, encouragement and even answers and solutions. To me, it’s a bit of an upgrade to blogging. Of course, there are some things that Twitter just can’t replace such as when you have something really long to say, but then I just put it into an article.

If what I need to share takes more than 140 characters, I make it an article, post in on EzineArticles and then allow it to auto-tweet to my Twitter account. Voila!

This means more time saved and more efficiency in my writing. If someone writes me or tweets me to ask a question and my answer takes more than 140 characters, I make the reply an article and tweet them the link. This allows me to maximize the number of articles I give and the quality of answers that I provide to people. It’s a win-win all around.
